Motor Vehicle Unit

The operational aspects of the Motor Vehicle Import Policy have been transferred from the Ministry to its Agency, the Trade Board Limited, with effect from October 1, 2008. The processing of applications for new and used car dealer, as well as the inspection of car dealerships are now undertaken by the Trade Board Limited. The monitoring of activities related to the importation of all motor vehicles is now the responsibility of the Trade Board.

The Commerce Division of the Ministry has oversight responsibility for the development and execution of the Motor Vehicle Import Policy.
