The 320 panel solar-powered pump station was officially commissioned into operation on January 23, 2020 and will provide 75% of the station's energy requirements.

The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
