Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries Hon Karl Samuda (2nd right) views dairy cows along with dairy farmer Oral Wallace in Rhymesbury, Clarendon, on February 16 during a tour of his farm. Mr Wallace was one of over 60 farmers from St. Thomas, St. Elizabeth and Clarendon who benefited from fertilizers, specially blended by Newport-Fersan for pasture development, valued at $3m and donated by the Jamaica Dairy Development Board.

The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
