Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister, Hon. Audley (left) along with Managing Director, Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), Omar Sweeny (right), unveil the JSIF Grant Beneficiaries $20 million – ICDP II Entrepreneurial Grant cheque at the Spanish Court Hotel, Kingston on December 16.  The project is funded by the Government of Jamaica and is being implemented by JSIF.  The beneficiaries of this project are 40-80 micro and small enterprises approved for the enterprise development grant within the ICDP II communities.  The seven communities to benefit are August Town, Greenwich Town, Denham Town, Treadlight in Clarendon and Mount Salem, Salt Spring and Anchovy in St. James.

The passport production and issuance operations of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) have been certified to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Standard by the National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ).
