The Government has completed the standards governing the packaging and labelling of brown sugar. The Compulsory Standards (Declaration of Standard Specification) (Brown Sugar [Revised]) Order, 2016 was signed by Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Karl Samuda, on Thursday, December 29 and was gazetted on Friday, December 30, 2016.
