Shaw pledges support for farmers, local industry
Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon Audley Shaw, is pledging more support for farmers and local manufacturers in the expansion of their production and identification of new markets for their products. Minister Shaw was addressing farmers at the 123rd Annual General Meeting of the Jamaica Agricultural Society, held at the Denbigh Showground in Clarendon on July 11, where he outlined several initiatives to be implemented by Government to assist farmers.
