Industry Minister charges agencies to think out of the box

Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister, Hon. Audley Shaw, has charged agencies under the Ministry to start thinking out of the box and to be more creative in how they do business in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. “I want all of you as heads of agencies to recognize the important role that you play. Minister Shaw lauds EXIM Bank on achieving ISO: 9001 certification

Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Hon Audley Shaw, has lauded the National Export Bank of Jamaica (EXIM Bank), on achieving ISO 9001 certification. The EXIM Bank is the first of 19 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to become ISO 9001:2015 certified under the Strategic Public Sector Transformation Project of the Ministry of Finance and The Public service. The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection.
