Dr. Norman Dunn, and to discuss areas of collaboration between the JCC and MIIC towards the growth of commerce in Jamaica. The Ministry will be working closely with the JCC to pursue the development of businesses, the growth of our MSMEs and commerce in general.

JIPO, an agency of the Ministry, provides a central focal point for the administration of Intellectual Property in Jamaica and has the mandate of administering intellectual property systems for Copyright and Related Rights, Trade Marks, Geographical Indications, Industrial Designs, Patents, Layout-Designs (Topographies), New Plant Varieties and Traditional Knowledge and Cultural Expressions in Jamaica.
