To facilitate a greater ease of doing business with the country, State marketer Jamaica Promotions Corporation (Jampro) said it is now in the final stages of rolling out the Jamaica Business Gateway. The platform, which will serve as an online portal for government processes, is to allow members of the private sector to readily access some of the essential services needed for business development. The Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) will collaborate with key partners to introduce an additional 35 government processes to the ‘Jamaica Business Gateway’ over the next two years. The virtual platform, which was launched by JAMPRO on Wednesday (May 17) at the AC Hotel by Marriott in New Kingston, allows ready access to some of the essential services needed to do business. Returning residents who are interested in starting a business are being encouraged to utilise the recently launched Jamaica Business Gateway for assistance.
