Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Jennifer Griffith (right), presents Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw, with a copy of the Christmas in July catalogue, at the Christmas in July Corporate Gifting event, at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel on Thursday, July 19. The Tourism Linkages Network of the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters’ Association (JMEA), Jamaica Promotions Corporation and the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association hosted Christmas in July 2018, featuring an exhibition of locally produced corporate gifts and souvenir items. Some 115 exhibitors participated and showcased a variety of authentic Jamaican products.

The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection. The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
