Karl Samuda has hailed the Praedial Larceny Prevention Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force for its quick action on the weekend, which resulted in the arrest of four men, seizure of over 2000 pounds of uninspected meat and the closure of an illegal slaughterhouse. The lawmen, who were acting on information, made the find after trailing men from St. Thomas to an address in St. Andrew last Saturday. Monymusk Factory to Remain Open to Protect Interest of Farmers

Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Hon. Karl Samuda, has instructed that the Monymusk Sugar Factory remains open until cane farmers crops have been reaped.
