Stakeholders Welcome Food Safety Management System

Public- and private-sector stakeholders have endorsed the new ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) that was recently unveiled by the National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ). The Standard, which was launched by Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister, Hon. Audley Shaw, is the NCBJ’s latest product/service offering. Gov’t Targeting Value-Added Production From Bamboo

State Minister for Industry, Investment and Commerce, Dr. the Hon. Norman Dunn, says the Government is targeting the bamboo industry as part of a strategy to enhance sustainable economic growth. The passport production and issuance operations of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) have been certified to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Standard by the National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ).
